Pope Leo XIIIRooted in Christ and then laid forth as a body of knowledge by Pope Leo XIII, Catholic Social Teaching focuses on justice built upon human dignity, subsidiarity and solidarity. What does this mean and why is it both misunderstood and rejected?

Men, join us for a night of Catholic thought hosted by the Debate Club. You will enjoy good food and make good friends all while learning and discussing your faith. Bring your sons and together let us show them how Catholic men are building their faith.

  1. My wife and I are Chesteron society members and heard about this through e-mails from the society. Is this open to anyone or just men?

      Josh,

Thanks for your interest in this event and your question. Debate Club is indeed geared only towards men and this is because we believe there is a need for such an outreach to Catholic men who are often absent from the pews even when their wives and children attend Mass. It is our goal to provide a fraternal atmosphere where men can grow and be challenged in their faith together with other men. That’s Debate Club. I do hope you can attend.
